“I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love.” — John 15:9
Imagine a river of fire and light flowing from the heart of the Father into the heart of the Son—an ancient, perfect love that predates the stars. Now, see Jesus turning that same river toward us. He does not offer a diluted version of divine affection; He offers the very same love He receives from the Father. It is a home, a sanctuary, a place of total belonging. He invites us to “remain”—not to visit on occasion or to earn our stay, but to dwell, to sink our roots deep into the soil of His devotion until we and the Love become one.
Let the intimacy of this invitation quiet our restless souls. We are loved with the same intensity that exists within the Godhead. May we be transformed by this radical belonging. When the world tells us that we are disposable or forgotten, let us remember the river. May we stay in the flow of His affection until it becomes the very atmosphere we breathe.
Prayer: Jesus, thank You for inviting me into the circle of Your love. Teach me how to stay there, to rest there, and to never wander away in search of lesser things. I want to abide in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
