“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love… revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 8:38-39
Picture a golden chain, forged in the fires of eternity, looping around our souls and anchored to the throne of God. Pull against it with all our might; scream at it with our doubts; let the storms of life bash against it—the chain does not even quiver. Neither height nor depth, neither the demons of the past nor the shadows of the future have a blade sharp enough to sever this link. The love revealed in Christ is an unbreakable grip; it is the relentless pursuit of a Father who has decided, once and for all, that we are His.
Let this conviction settle the trembling in our spirits. We are safe. We are held. There is no dark valley and no high mountain where His love cannot find us. May we be transformed by this divine security. Let our fear of abandonment die, and let a bold, courageous love take its place, knowing that we can never fall out of His hands.
Prayer: Holy Father, I am so prone to fear, yet Your love is so sure. Thank You for being the anchor that holds when everything else gives way. I rest in the truth that I am Yours forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen..
